I am a California Board and Nationally certified acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. My specialty is in Women's Health, including menopause, PMS, irregular/painful menses, breast health, and fertility issues. I am also very interested in the inner tradition of Chinese medicine, which is concerned as much with the physical health as with spiritual and emotional wellbeing. It is my belief that when we are living our destiny, from a place of centeredness, we are less susceptible to illness.
As acupuncture can produce a deep sense of well being it works very well for emotional concerns, including stress, depression, anxiety, grief and anger. I also work successfully with pain management, digestive issues, incontinence, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and chemotherapy/radiation support.

I love to serve humanity, and helping people to feel better and to better live a comfortable and healthy life is part of that.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I specialize in Women's Health, sexual health, and emotional concerns. I'm very intested in the Inner Tradition of Chinese Medicine, which supports the interconnection between the body and the mind, and is concerned with destiny, if we are living our destiny (or not) and how that can affect our health. I love the extistential and taoist qualities of the medicine and always integrate them into the treatments.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have one location, 2nd St. in Santa Rosa. I plan to expand in March, and will be developing the Soul Shine Family Wellness center with Dr. Lana Surgenor, Doctor of Chriopractic, and the Sonoma County Thermography Center.It's going to be amazing! We will also have yoga, massage, educational seminars and classes, and more!
