Women's Recovery Services provides a unique 4 month residential treatment program to women unable to stay drug/alcohol free without intervention. WRS is a solution for families broken by a mother’s addiction. Neglected children get their mother back and thrive in an optimistic future. Mothers become sober healthy independent parents who bond the family together for the long term.family may be part of the process. Women learn many lifeskills so they may have continued sobriety after program completion.
WRS is nicotine-free since 1999 and continues to be the only nicotine-free residential treatment facility in Sonoma County. Nine months of weekly AfterCare follows residential treatment.

How long have you been in business?
Women's Recovery Services was founded in 1975 and has been saving lives for mothers and children that have been caught up in the downward spiral of addiction.
What is your primary product or service?
Residential treatment services where mothers and infants and children can live together while learning the necessary life changing skills to live sober lives.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As Executive Director, my background is in forensic psychiatry, which has a strong interconnection with substance dependence.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
WRS is much different as we support families healing together from the ravages of mother's addiction. Pregnant women are a part of our program so that their unborn infants are born drug free while mother continues her recovery program. We have an on-site Children's Program so that children no longer have to be victims caught in their mother's addiction.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
WRS has one primary confidential treatment location and three transitional houses where families may live for up to two years after successful completion of the four (4) month residential portion.
